Shaaban's goal is always putting story at the core of every project and aims to bridge the gap between cultures, drive a better understanding in what connects us, and break down borders one story at a time.

As a filmmaker, Tamer has worked on a range of projects. Writing, Directing award winning films and commercials, a digital Original Series, and working with corporate giants like Microsoft, Audi and more. As a former User Experience Design Lead at Microsoft he had the opportunity to create experiences on Xbox, Augmented Reality, and lead the design on several multi-million dollar projects for products used daily. 
In 2011 Tamer was awarded the YSA 25 Under 25 Most Influential Young People on HuffPost for his humanitarian work. He later received Microsoft’s MVP Leadership award for his work on a Documentary covering Microsoft’s Hurricane Sandy relief effort. Since then, Tamer has directed branded short films for Nissan, Dove, Lay’s and the UEFA Champions League starring Lionel Messi to name a few. In 2021, Tamer was chosen as a one of five fellows across the US for the Commercial Directors Diversity Program finalist (CDDP), as well as won a Clio for Sports in advertising as the Director and Creative Director of the campaign. His most recent short film “Pause” was Officially Selected as Oscar Qualifying Festivals at the 2021 Austin Film Festival, the Pan African Film Festival, and the New Filmmakers LA presented by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science, the film was a Finalist and Runner-up for the Enderby Entertainment Award. In 2022 Tamer was recognized as a finalist for the Pillars Artist Fund by Riz Ahmed, Mahershala Ali, Ramy Youssef and more.
