Paul Schneider
He enjoys finding the relatable, funny moments in the daily grind. These days, when he’s on set, he wants to be laughing.

Meet Paul Schneider. For him, it’s been a long and winding road. A start as a pro-skateboarder led to filming his skateboarder friends, earning an MFA in Graphic Design, co-founding a boutique film and design studio, working as an award-winning ECD, and ultimately, directing. Sometimes the windiest roads are the most interesting.

While Paul’s style has evolved over time, everything he directs is grounded in his passion for narrative storytelling. A lot of his work sits squarely in the kinetic energy that’s inherent in skateboarding, and he enjoys finding the relatable, funny moments in the daily grind. These days, when he’s on set, he wants to be laughing.

Paul gets the unique stresses and nuances of agency life. A true collaborator and partner, he knows that by the time a project gets to him it has traveled its own long road, and he works hard to infuse the same excitement the project had at its inception. His deep understanding of the filmmaking process on a
technical level, including editing and VFX means he’s ready and able to roll up his sleeves as needed.
Once he’s on board, he’ll fall on sword to make it great.

Paul’s most recent work includes campaigns for Vicks, Levi, Toyota, and Hyundai, and the thing he loves most about his job is that it’s constantly changing and there’s always something new to learn. So, about that long and winding road? Totally worth it.
