Meet Manny Bernardez. He’s the character master. Manny approaches storytelling by completely immersing himself in the character to figure out what makes them tick. Fueled by witty and insightful content, he’s all about creating relatable moments that people can connect to. His ultimate goal? To always come from a place of authenticity – through his creative vision, through the talent he directs, and as a person.
Born in Venezuela, you could say that Manny has lived 9 lives. His deep experience in editing, post-production, and visual effects means that when faced with a problem on set, he can come up with on-the-spot solutions while truly understanding how those solutions might impact other roles. His long-term stints as a Creative Director make him uniquely able to understand the pain points of an agency. He approaches every project as a collaborator and every end product as a video baby with multiple parents.
As a director, Manny has created and directed an extensive body of work for National Geographic, NFL Network, ESPN, NBAStore.com, and OnStar. To round out his other past lives, he held a leadership role on the Nike Global Brand Design team that saw the launch of Nike+ and the Beijing Olympics, Nike Free Bear Butte Running Camp, Danny Kass Yellow Snow, and the multi-award-winning Nike Fresh Air.
When he’s not directing, Manny’s cooking up a storm, slapping the bass, or hitting up local art galleries for inspo.
